Two Ways to U-Pick
Morning light or golden hour — both are an hour in the fields with flowers at their peak.
Friday Morning
Fridays · 9:30 – 10:30am
Start your weekend early with dewy fields and cool morning air. A calm, unhurried hour in the rows — perfect for families or a solo morning out.
Sunset U-Pick
Sundays · 6:30 – 7:30pm
Golden-hour light over the rows. Music drifting through the tents. A peaceful end to a Cape May weekend that people come back for every season.

Before You Arrive
A few things to know so your visit is easy and enjoyable.
👟 What to Wear
Comfortable walking shoes — you’ll be on a working farm. Dress for the weather and bring sun protection for morning sessions. Evenings cool off quickly in summer.
🌿 What’s Blooming
Bloom availability changes throughout the season. We grow zinnias, sunflowers, lisianthus, and more. Whatever’s at peak is what you’ll harvest.
🎟 Tickets Required
All spots must be reserved in advance — including companions. Sunset U-Pick in particular sells out regularly. Don’t wait until the day of.
👧 Kids Welcome
Children are welcome. Those over 5 entering the field need a ticket. This is a working farm — please keep children supervised throughout your visit.

We grow flowers to be experienced — not just arranged. Public U-Pick invites you into the rhythm of the farm. You see what’s blooming. You choose what speaks to you. You slow down.
It’s about being in the field while it’s happening — something you can’t replicate with a bouquet from a shop.
Frequently Asked
Do I need tickets in advance?
Yes — all guests entering the field must have a ticket purchased in advance. This keeps group sizes manageable and the experience relaxed. Sunset U-Pick sells out regularly, so booking ahead is important.
How many flowers can I cut?
Your compostable container sets the size of your bouquet. We’ll show you how to cut properly and help you make the most of it. Bloom variety changes throughout the season.
What is the Sunset U-Pick exactly?
Sunday evenings from 6:30–7:30pm. Same harvesting format as Friday mornings, but with golden-hour light, cooler evening air, and music — a peaceful end to a Cape May weekend. It’s become our most-requested session.
Can a friend come who doesn’t want to pick?
Yes. Companion tickets are $10. Everyone entering the field needs a ticket regardless of whether they’re harvesting.
What happens if it rains?
If weather requires cancellation or rescheduling, we’ll notify ticket holders by email in advance. Make sure the email you use at checkout is accurate.
Can I take photos?
Absolutely — just stay within your scheduled hour so other groups have space to enjoy the fields too.
Where should I park?
Farm parking is limited. Plan to park along the street near the entrance, close to the curb. We appreciate your care in keeping a good relationship with our neighbors.
